2023: Adebayo, the SDP presidential candidate, meets with CAN and outlines a roadmap for Nigeria.

Prince Adewole Adebayo, the Presidential Candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, has briefed the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, about his plans to bring Nigeria out of the woods ahead of the upcoming election.

The SDP candidate bemoaned Nigeria’s lack of good leadership.

Adebayo spoke during an interactive session with the CAN leadership in Abuja on Tuesday.

He stated that if elected President of Nigeria, he will prudently use the country’s wealth by investing them in Nigerians.

“I will use the resources God has blessed Nigeria and invest in our citizens. I will invest in food, security, education, employment, housing, health and infrastructure”, he said.

He said the major challenge with the country is bad leadership, while pledging to be the good leader Nigerians desire.

Adebayo said he will ensure that security is restored to every part of Nigeria.

He added that his government will bring together Nigerians irrespective of tribe and religion.

“The problem of Nigeria still goes back to the quality of leadership we produce. There is a particular type of leadership Nigeria is supposed to have and the church has 90 percent role to play there.

“A good leader must be just. Our parents need to learn how to tell the truth. Injustice is everywhere. If the leaders are just, then nobody would be bothered about tribe or religion which is the leading factor of most of the challenges facing the country. Justice is an attitude of God and until we have it, Nigerians will continue to suffer division”, he said.
