A 50-year-old mother of four, known as Florence Owa, reportedly committed suicide in Sapele, Delta, by consuming a toxic liquid accused of being Sniper.
The incident occurred at 124 Ogbene Road on Tuesday, 26 January, a few days after she was discharged from the hospital.
It was gathered that the deceased had been ill for some time and had stabilised at home until one of her children came back and found her unconscious in the living room.
She was instantly rushed to the Sapele Central Hospital, where she was reported dead upon her arrival.
A resident of the area has confirmed that Florence, popularly identified as Floxy, has been dealing with depression since her disease began.
