The downing of a Nigerian fighter plane has been alleged by a Boko Haram group.
According to HumAngle, the party released video evidence to back up their statements.
The video showed fighters holding RPGs, artillery equipment, the pilot’s body, and aircraft wreckage.
The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha-Jet was sent in to fight the Boko Haram sect.
The military announced on Wednesday that it had dropped off the radar. Since then, no traces have been discovered.
Although on an interdiction operation in support of ground forces, the fighter aircraft lost contact with the base at 5 p.m. the same day.
