On Thursday, December 17, the Coalition of Northern Groups (CNG) embarked on a demonstration in Katsina State, calling on the state and federal government to quickly rescue the hundreds of students abducted from the state’s Kankara Government Science Secondary School.
Led by some national leaders of the group, the protesters carried placards with inscriptions such as “BringBackOurBoys;” “government must speak out;” and “We want our children back” amongst others.
