Buhari was said to have travelled to the United Kingdom for a regular medical examination.
In another Presidency tweet, the President was quoted as saying he was relaxing in London.
He returned to the nation on Thursday, and the APC said he is now re-energized and re-committed to carrying out the party’s lofty transformative commitments to Nigerians.
Sen. John Akpanudoedehe, National Secretary of the APC Caretaker and Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee (CECPC), said in a statement on Friday.
According to him, the party was overjoyed with President Buhari’s return.
“Mr president is undoubtedly re-energised and recommitted to executing the lofty developmental objectives of the APC-led administration,” he said.
The party further asked the Almighty God to continue to grant the President good health and wisdom to pilot the nation’s affairs.
