Boss Mustapha, Secretary to the Government of Federation and Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID -19 in a press release on Monday the 23rd of November advised Nigerians to hang their plans of traveling for Christmas and New Year Festivals so as to curtail the spread of Coronavirus. He reminded Nigerians that more festive opportunities in the future abound.
“Ahead of the upsurge in travels for the Christmas and New Year festivals, we urge strongly that for this year, such a trip should be put on hold firmly because of the risks involved. The transmission rate has simply become astronomical. There will always be many more festive reasons to celebrate,” he said.
