Davido, a singer, has confirmed that his new famous slang, ‘e choke,’ is getting ‘out of hand.’
The music star began using the slang in his posts and videos a few months ago, and it was quickly adopted by his followers, and it has since become perhaps the most common slang that almost everybody uses.
Davido, on the other hand, believes that the slang is being overused.
The singer complained in a tweet yesterday that the slang has gotten out of control, prompting him to consider copyrighting it.
“Gotta get ‘e choke’ copyrighted it’s getting outta hand,” he tweeted.
Davido’s accusation comes just days after his music competitor, Wizkid, posted a video in which he can be heard using the slang.
This has got people believing that it is because Wizkid used the slang, that is what has triggered Davido’s reaction and him claiming, it is ‘getting out of hand.’
