The Commander, Defence Headquarters Garrison, Maj.-Gen. Preye Fakrogha, has told citizens of the Federal Capital Territory that security services will work together to protect the nation’s capital.
This was stated in a statement signed by Anthony Ogunleye, the Chief Press Secretary to the Minister of the FCT.
Fakrogha spoke during a visit to the FCT minister, Muhammad Bello.
Recall that there have been questions about the FCT’s welfare, with police assuring residents of their safety on Sunday.
The statement was titled, ‘FCTA will continue to collaborate closely with military and security agencies to insure FCT security.’
It read in part,
“He (Fakrogha0 said that he had visited other security agencies within the territory and pledged to work closely with all of them in line with the leadership philosophy of the Chief of Defence Staff.
“He said it was in demonstration of this that the heads of the other military formations in the FCT had accompanied him on the visit to the FCTA and assured that all the security agencies in the FCT will work in synergy so that the security of the nation’s capital will be guaranteed.”
