A Nigerian, US-based pastor and a former presidential aspirant, Dr. Nicolas Felix has used his Twitter account to call on Buhari’s Government to release Eromosele Adene from Police detention. He said Eromosele is a bonafide citizen of Nigeria, who has every right to protest as the Nigerian constitution demands and as such didn’t commit any punishable crime.
“I am calling on the Nigerian Government to immediately release @simplyEromz Eromosele Adene from @policeNG detention. As a citizen of Nigeria, his protest is guaranteed under the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Protest is not a crime. #FreeEromz.”
Eromomele Peter Adene a musician, and #ENDSARS campaigner, was arrested by some heavily armed Nigerian Policemen at his Ikeja residence in Lagos on the 7th of November 2020. Thereafter he was secretly transferred and detained at the Police headquarters Area 10 Garki Abuja.
At the moment Eromosele Adene is still in Nigerian Police custody and Dr. Nicolas Felix is of the opinion that he committed no crime and therefore should be released.
