Garba Shehu, spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, was summoned by Nigerian Muslims after he was seen moving to a woman’s embrace. Hugs and handshakes between the opposite sex who are not married are prohibited in Islam.However, in a photo posted online, Garba Shehu, a practising Muslim, was caught in a way he seemed to be leaning in to hug a woman, although there was no real proof of that.This angered the Muslims, and they accused him of “degrading religion.”
