Diete Koki Memorial Hospital, located along Opolo Road in Yenagoa, Bayelsa state, has been raided by unidentified gunmen.
The gunmen allegedly assaulted the hospital about 3 a.m. and successfully stole cash and valuables from doctors on duty and patients.
Doctor Okeleghel Awudumapu, who told the Nigerian Tribune about his incident, said the two-man gang caught him off guard when he was returning from his call room.
