House of David Owerri celebrates this year’s women’s thanksgiving service

 Every year the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) – House of David Parish Owerri under the youth province 5 celebrates its annual women’s thanksgiving service. This years’ service themed “Fruitfulness and Holiness” was celebrated on the 29th of November, 2020.

The service started with praise and worship by the women’s choir, followed by an editorial session captioned “Fruitfulness”. The editorial session was graced by a 45 minutes talk show presented by:

Mommy Uche Jennifer, 

Mommy Nkechi Anya,

Mommy Nchedo Onyenwe

Mommy Uwaoma

and;

Mommy Blessing Hope

The talk show was centered on common problems in marriages, such as:

– character change

– nagging

– poor relationship between couples

– effects of bringing ideas from the outsiders

– etc.

and how to overcome them.

Mommy Nchedo Onyenwe talked about “Endtime Army” in respect to Holiness with the Bible text from Peter:14 vs 16. She defined “Holiness” as wholeness in everything we do.

“Holiness is not negotiable because our God is perfect and holy. It is a command from God. We should apply holiness in all our conduct. Above all, without holiness no man can see God”, she said.
