Iyabo Ojo, a Nollywood star, has filed a civil suit against her colleague Yomi Fabiyi for making a defamatory remark about the pending rape case involving Baba Ijesha and a 14-year-old teen.
Yomi Fabiyi had earlier stormed the Panti police station on Wednesday morning, demanding the release of the embattled singer, Baba Ijesha, who was being held illegally.
The actor also said that his teammates, Iyabo Ojo and Prince Damilola Adekoya, promised to kill Baba Ijesha if he was given bail.
Reacting to this, Iyabo Ojo, through her Lawyer, writes to Yomi Fabiyi demanding the retraction of his defamatory statement and a public apology.
According to the civil suit, Yomi Fabiyi has 14 days to tender a public apology to Iyabo Ojo, a hundred million damage or face further legal action.
