Jide Kosoko, a veteran actor, has resorted to social media to address the problems surrounding Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing’s suspension from the Association of Moviemakers (TAMPAN), which happened during a press conference in Lagos on Saturday, June 26.
According to him, the decision was neither defending the rape case of Baba Ijesha nor discouraging Iyabo Ojo and Nkechi Blessing’s position on the subject.
He stated in a video that the reason for taking such drastic actions against the two actresses was because of disparaging remarks made that might ruin the reputation of the Yoruba film industry.
The veteran actor further explained he would never tolerate any rape incident involving any of the members. He would let the law take its course rather than playing jungle justice.
KFN earlier reported that actress Iyabo Ojo has come forward to tender an apology to TAMPAN for any misconduct displayed.
