Jumoke’s mother, who was murdered during a Yoruba Nation protest in Lagos by a stray gunshot purportedly fired by Nigerian police, was seen sobbing loudly as she grieved her daughter.

Jumoke was reportedly murdered yesterday, July 3, at a Sunday Igboho-led Yoruba nation march in Lagos.

Jumoke was alleged to have been sitting in front of her mother’s business during the demonstration when she was killed by a stray gunshot.

Reacting to the sad incident, one KunleReal took to social media and wrote, “OMG!!! I knew something like this would happen., Truth is, innocent people are mostly victims in these agitations “

Popular comedian, Mr Macaroni wrote, “A promising young girl who should not even be on the streets hawking If the Government has provided adequate job opportunities. The girl is hustling to make ends meet, the same government still killed her just for trying to survive.”
