Leke Adeboye, the last son of the Redeemed Christian Church of God’s general overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has revealed how he defied his mother, Pastor Folu Adeboye’s, 73rd birthday request.
His mother, Pastor Folu, did not want to celebrate her 73rd birthday today, but his late brother, “Pastor Dare, would not allow it,” he said.
NenyKo recalls that the Adeboye family lost their son Dare at age 42 in May after he died in his sleep in Akwa Ibom where he was based with his family.
Posting a video on his Instagram page hours ago showing he organized a little gathering for his mother, Leke captioned it:

“Yes you don’t want any birthday celebration but my gee PDee won’t allow me to fall our hands.. so I’m doing it,” he wrote.
Pastor Folu is affectionately known as Mummy G.O. by members of the congregation She was born on Tuesday, July 13, 1948, to Jacob Adelusi Adeyokunnu’s family.
