Manchester City rallied from a score down to defeat Paris Saint-Germain 2-1 in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Wednesday night.

In the first half, Marquinhos went in Angel Di Maria’s corner to give the hosts the lead.

The game, however, changed after the break.

Just after the hour mark, City captain Kevin De Bruyne’s cross fell in to get City level.

Mahrez then beat Keylor Navas from a free kick in the 71st minute to complete the comeback and hand Pep Guardiola’s side the lead heading into next Tuesday’s return in Manchester.

After failing to beat Manchester United, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich at home this season in the Champions League, the Parisians now face a difficult battle in England if they are to make the final for the second year in a row.
