On Thursday evening, March 25, a driver of a Toyota Carina with the registration number FD310ABC was involved in a fatal crash at Tollgate Nteje Onitsha lane, which left one person dead and two others critically wounded.
According to eyewitnesses, the crash occurred as a result of speeding, which caused the driver to lose control of the wheel.

The crash affected three people: two male adults and one female adult. The FRSC rescue team from Nteje Command rushed one male adult and one female adult with differing degrees of injury to St Charles Borromeo hospital. The doctor on duty reported the death of one of the male adults, and his body was deposited at Wisdom Mortuary Awkuzu.

Confirming the incident to newsmen, the sector Commander Anambra State FRSC, CC Andrew A Kumapayi FHNR, warned motorists against speeding while driving. “Speed trills but kills, “he said.
