A man took Twitter to share the funny mail he got from his wife asking for an increase in the monthly maintenance of the family and his response to her.
The husband said that his wife had approached him to ask for a raise, and he asked her to write a formal letter.
In her mail, she called her family duties as a cook, teacher, wife, doctor, caregiver, etc. She added that she had done her duties to the best of her ability and that she required a raise due to the increased cost of living.
Her husband replied by mail, promising to speak to the board and get back to her.
He then e-mailed the Trade Union, the Women’s Association of Nigeria, and the Mothers of the Democratic Union.
