Toke Makinwa has said that a happy marriage or partnership is the product of good fortune.
The radio personality clarified that there are no recipes for a happy marriage, and that a woman could attend all of the marriage workshops, read all of the books on how to make a marriage succeed, and even do anything right, but it will still not work.
She said this in response to yet another seminar teaching women how to be more attractive to men.
Toke said that it is the responsibility of the two parties in the relationship to make themselves attractive and to work hard to maintain what they have.
She added that there are too many women working to make themselves desirable for men who are not developing themselves.
She went on to ask for seminars for men too so that “everyone is working on themselves for themselves”.
