According to Goal, Kylian Mbappe will not leave Paris Saint-Germain for Real Madrid this summer.
The LaLiga giants have reportedly withdrawn from talks to recruit Mbappe.
After initially believing that a deal might be made, Real Madrid refused to accept PSG’s demands for a €200 million fee.
As things currently stand, Mbappe will serve out the balance of his contract.
Los Blancos have already had two proposals for Mbappe rejected by PSG, the most recent of which was offered €170 million plus €10 million (£9 million/$12 million) in add-ons.
The Spanish giants had been confident that the second bid would be enough to land the 22-year-old superstar, who has made it clear he wants to move to Madrid.
However, with PSG standing firm it now seems unlikely a deal can be agreed before Tuesday’s transfer deadline, meaning Mbappe will remain at Parc des Princes – for now.
