Opeyemi Aiyeola, a Nollywood actress, has turned to social media to express her grief over the industry’s continuous harm as a result of the controversial film ‘Oko Iyabo,’ produced by Yomi Fabiyi.

Opeyemi Aiyeola addressed the folks for whom her heart is heavy in the midst of these conflicts in an Instagram post.

She went on to say that her heart breaks for the small girl and her family implicated in the rape incident, the rising stars included in the film, and the business as a whole.

She wrote:
My heart bleeds for the girl in the middle of all this mayhem and her family, my heart bleeds for the upcoming actors whose career hasn’t even started and foolishly/ desperately allowed themselves be used this way, my heart bleeds for my industry ( A platform that has over years made people out of social , family and religious rejects like me 💔🩸😭)

Recall that TAMPAN, in a statement, condemns Yomi Fabiyi’s new movie, ‘Oko Iyabo’ and has released a press statement to summon him.

According to the press statement, the movie producer and director Yomi Fabiyi will appear before the committee on the 11th of July, 2021.
