The National Examinations Council (NECO) has cautioned that it would not extend the registration time for school-based applicants for the 2021 Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE).

The exercise, which began on March 31, is scheduled to conclude on June 25, 2021.

The test will begin on Monday, July 5, 2021.

This was stated in a press statement issued by Azeez Sani, the Head of NECO’s Information and Public Relations Division.

The exam body said it took the decision not to extend registration to enable it efficiently plan the logistics required for the smooth conduct of the forthcoming 2021 SSCE internal examination.

NECO enjoined State Ministries of Education, Commandants, Principals, Proprietors and other relevant stakeholders to take note of the closing date and ensure timely completion of their candidates’ registration.

The Council assured its stakeholders of its resolve to conduct a seamless 2021 SSCE exam.
