Gbemi Olateru Olagbegi has taken over social media and lamented the extent of evil in Nigeria despite being a religious country. Popular media figures have claimed that despite Nigeria being a religious country, it is full of wicked people citing how to grease palms or have some contacts before obtaining basic things like a passport, Driver’s License, among others.The 36-year-old Nigerian broadcaster and presenter known for hosting programmes on The Beat 99.9 FM added that she is waiting for the day that Nigerians will get these basic things without knowing anybody inside.
“I genuinely look forward to the day that every Nigerian can get the simple things like a passport, a driver’s license, National ID card, etc without knowing someone on the inside or greasing any palms. No stress /waiting for months.
And as religious as we are ….. it’s difficult to understand why many are so wicked. Because it’s a human being like you who is delaying these things o. Do religious leaders preach against this “Nigerian wickedness “ enough ?” she twitted
