Yomi Fabiyi, a Nollywood actor, has produced a new film, “Oko Iyabo,” which depicts the Baba Ijesha rape case. The one-hour, fifteen-minute film has enraged many Nigerians and celebrities alike.

According to Kemi Filani, Baba Ijesha was detained by police in April for allegedly sexually assaulting Princess, the 14-year-old foster daughter of comedienne.

Fabiyi had organised a demonstration against Baba Ijesha’s imprisonment and indicated willingness to serve as his guarantee.

The movie is produced by the actor, Fabiyi and also directed by Dele Matti.

Last month, Fabiyi had tweeted “The Movie “OKO IYABO” location loading. A lovely story & concept. We are gettng ready. Una don watch OKO RAMOTA & u enjoyed it, get ready for OKO IYABO.”

The movie features other Yoruba veteran acts including Hassan Ogogo, Adewale Elesho, Toyin Afolayan, Baba Olafaina, Akeem Alimi and many others.

In reaction, many Nigerians have called for the movie to be taken down YouTube as it is an offensive one.
