Victor Osimhen has been lauded as a complete striker by new Napoli manager Luciano Spalletti.
Spalletti describes the Super Eagles standout as a fighter who also understands how to score.
Spalletti, who took over for Gennaro Gattuso at the close of last season, is eager to work with Osimhen in Naples.
Osimhen scored 10 goals in 24 games in his first season in Serie A, helping the Parthenopeans finish fifth in the table.
The former Inter Milan and Roma coach said that the 22-year-old has to work on several aspects of his game ahead of the 2021-22 season, which begins on August 21 at home against Venezia.
“He will certainly be a foothold for us and a strength of this team,” Spalletti told the club website. “He is a complete striker, he knows how to score and he knows how to fight for his teammates.
“It is clear that he also has aspects to improve and this is where we need to work, but it has already given great availability.”
