Pictures and names of some of the “Boko Haram abducted” schoolboys of Katsina

 

Any of the students abducted from the Government Science Secondary School in Kankara local government area of Katsina State have been named, reports TheCable. The squad of their reporters on the ground in Kankara also took exclusive images of four of the abducted students.The children, named for the first time since the attack, include Zaharadeen Umar, Abdulgafar Murtala, Mujahid Abdulhamid and Aliyu Abubakar.During a tour of the school grounds, reporters have found some of the papers belonging to the pupils, including their books and bags.Gunmen invaded the school about midnight on Friday, fleeing with over 300 pupils.More than 333 were declared missing by the state government, which later reported that 17 of the students who had escaped during the attack had been identified.Boko Haram took responsibility for the attack, which he claimed was meant to deter western education.

It’s been more than 48 hours since Aminu Masari, governor of Katsina, said the kidnappers had made contact with his administration and that the security forces had figured out where the victims were held.
