Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has responded to his colleague Iyabo Ojo’s civil suit against him for making a defamatory comment about Baba Ijesha’s pending rape lawsuit.
Yomi Fabiyi stormed the Panti police station on Wednesday, demanding the release of Baba Ijesha for unlawful detention, according to NenyKo.
The actor also said that his coworkers, Iyabo Ojo and Princess Damilola Adekoya, had vowed to kill Baba Ijesha if he was given bail.
In response, Iyabo Ojo, via her lawyer, writes to Yomi Fabiyi, requesting that he withdraw his defamatory remarks, issue a public apology, and pay damages of one hundred million Naira, or face further legal action.
Responding to Iyabo Ojo, Yomi Fabiyi, in an Instagram message, urged his fans and supporters to disregard the civil suit associated with his name because he does not have time to waste.
Yomi Fabiyi went on to ridicule Iyabo Ojo, advising her to save her money for more TikTok videos, for which she is well-known, rather than waste it on the needless outfit.
Yomi Fabiyi wrote: Ignore any unnecessary CIVIL SUITS attached to my name, I don’t dignify everybody with a response. Not even a non-criminal suit that lack merits and grounds. I don’t have time to waste walai. Your lawyer will never tell you how many months, funds and process involve in civil suits.
Anyway, anybody drowning will cling on anything to survive. Save your money for feed and tiktok costumes, don’t let any lawyer eat your money iyawo mi. You deserve better dear, time still dey to make a detour and save your face. I don’t deal in social media court. Enjoy the funny moments.
