Big Brother Naija, Africa’s most popular reality television show, will return to our screens this weekend, July 24 and 25, with its sixth season.

The show will begin at 7 p.m. on DStv channel 198 and GOtv channel 29, with simultaneous broadcasts on Africa Magic Showcase, Africa Magic Urban, and Africa Magic Family.

During a press conference on Monday, July 19th, the Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, stated that BBNaija fans in the United Kingdom will have access to the live programme 24/7 for the first time through an African internet streaming service for the first time.

The show’s organisers have said that there will be no SMS voting since viewers may now vote for their favourite housemates for free via the official website and apps, allowing for more inclusive involvement for fans outside of Nigeria.

According to John Ugbe, show max will provide exclusive access to the programme for viewers in the diaspora, and live shows will follow the Lockdown Edition format with no visitors in accordance with Covid-19 safety rules and safeguards.

The winner of Big Brother Naija Season 6 will get a staggering N90 million.

The reality programme will air for 72 days, ending on October 3, 2021.
