Since his sister’s wedding price did not reach him, a man took to Twitter to state, “We ought to abolish sexism.”

 

He reported that a bride price of 300,000 Naira was paid, but his mother was only given 5,000 Naira, while elders he’d never seen before took the remainder.

 

He claimed that if his mother had been offered a fair sum, he would have obtained a share of the bride price.

 

He asked if this is the misogyny feminists have always been talking about on Twitter,  then added his voice to say it needs to be dismantled.
