Six fortunate to be alive after two cars crash into the valley in Anambra


On Sunday, six people fled death when two cars fell into a shallow gorge and somersaulted several times in Awka, the state capital of Anambra.
The crash involving a Toyota Tacoma SUV with registration number SMK 36 FL and a Toyota Camry with registration number ENU 430 MW bound for Onitsha occurred on Sunday 13 December in the vicinity of the Federal Road Safety Corp, FRSC Command Office in Awka.

The accident was triggered, according to an eyewitness, by reckless overtaking, adding that no death was reported.  

The wounded survivors were taken to Princeton Hospital, Ngozika Housing Estate, Awka, where medical treatment is currently being offered.
