Under new Blues manager Thomas Tuchel, Abraham has made just a few appearances.
Tuchel’s decision to bypass England’s striker is puzzling, given that Timo Werner has only scored three goals in 27 games since November 7.
While only making four starts under Thomas Tuchel, Abraham is the club’s leading goalscorer this season, with 12 goals in 31 games in all competitions.
His goals-per-90 rate of 0.71 is more than twice as impressive as Werner’s 0.3.
But Tuchel has more often than not opted for Werner or Kai Havertz through the middle.
So it will come as no surprise to hear that Chelsea would be willing to sell Abraham this summer if a club was to make an offer in the region of £40 million, according to Matt Law in the Telegraph.
