The late Prophet TB Joshua, Founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), was put to rest Wednesday at his church in Lagos’ Ikotun-Egbe neighbourhood.
The televangelist died on June 5, just days before his 58th birthday, in Lagos.
It was an event that drew numerous prominent Nigerians as well as dignitaries from all over the world.
The undertakers moved the casket containing the dead into the church’s vast auditorium at exactly 10 a.m. yesterday. Cries of anguish could be heard both inside and outside the theatre.
The bereaved wife, Evelyn, their three daughters and other members of the family ushered in the corpse to the middle of the church.
