On Monday, a Lagos Magistrate Court granted bail to 49 Yoruba Nation agitators who had been arrested and held by the Lagos Police Command.

The accused were displayed as part of the Oodua Republic big rally in Ojota.

There are 47 males and two women among those paraded.

According to CP Hakeem Odumosu, some of them were apprehended and discovered with weapons, axes, Oodua flags, Yoruba Armed Forces jackets, and other stuff.

Others were detained at the Ojota protest site.

Mr. Maxwell Adeleye, the IOO’s Media Communications Secretary, revealed that the agitators must give N300,000 with two sureties apiece.

A motion for their bail application was filed by human rights lawyers led by Olasupo Ojo and Oladapo Kayode.
