The decomposing body of an abducted Rivers neighbourhood chairman was discovered buried in a shallow grave.

The decomposing body of an abducted community chief, Prince Deekia, was exhumed by men from the Rivers State Police Command.

 

SP Bako Angbashim, DPO of Bori Divisional Police Station, led his squad and some family members to the forest near the Bonny-Andoni waterways on Thursday, April 8, where the decomposing body was exhumed from a shallow grave.

 

Prince Deekia, the Community Development Committee (CDC) Chairman of Kereken-Boue in Rivers State’s Babbe District, Khana Local Government Area, was abducted a few weeks ago by gunmen.

Details surrounding the incident are still sketchy, however, it was gathered that unknown gunmen broke into the home of the CDC Chairman and whisked him away to an unknown destination.
