Cliqq TV’s Jamil Mabai posted a video from Kastina state’s Commissioner for Education describing how the state has used local breed dogs to combat banditry.

According to the commissioner, the dogs used by local hunters were deployed to boarding schools as a supplement to security forces.

When asking whether the dogs had been adequately trained, the commissioner revealed that they were born with the ability to detect threat. He went on to say that the dogs’ job isn’t to combat the robbers, but rather to warn security agents as bandits approach.

This comes amidst multiple reports of kidnapping, killing across schools in the state and other parts of the country.
