The Los Angeles Police Department has recently launched an investigation into Quavo and Saweetie’s elevator altercation after their public breakup.

This comes just two days after a video of the ex-couple getting into a violent altercation inside an elevator went viral.

Saweetie can be seen punching at Quavo in a minute-and-a-half-long video posted by TMZ, as they fight with an orange Call of Duty case at an apartment complex in North Hollywood.

According to TMZ, LAPD detectives have seen the video of the now ex-couple fighting over a video game console box, and want to meet with both parties, separately, to discuss what went down.

The publication said the situation could be considered an instance of domestic violence, where both parties are guilty.

The report also said police want to determine what happened before and after the elevator surveillance footage was captured.
