Kemi Olunloyo, a Nigerian journalist, blasted Erica for cheering on social media after her Twitter account was checked a few days earlier.

The BBNaija star, who couldn’t contain her excitement about having the blue badge added to her account, took to Twitter and asked her fans if @Verified was following them.

In response, Kemi Olunloyo took to the comments section and clarified that being verified is not an honour because @Verified is following her on Twitter but her account has not yet been checked.

Kemi wrote;

“I’m gonna rephrase that verified question. Verification is not an honour. Verified is following me but I’m not verified. Can anyone figure out why that handle is following me?…”.

Readers may remember that a few weeks earlier, Erica’s fans pleaded with Twitter management to check their queen’s account because she met all of the criteria for the badge.
