Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, a Nigerian international music act, has added another feather to his cap following the success of his song Essence on the international stage.

The Star Boy’s Essence is now in the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100, according to KemiFilani.

Wizkid’s Essence featuring Tems gained international traction after Canadian singer Justin Bieber joined in on the song.

This comes just week ago, when the song was at No. 11. Essence is also looking good on the Shazam and Urban Radio charts. Recall that Wizkid’s ‘Made In Lagos’ album also hit one billion streams across all streaming platforms.

Essence is the most popular track from Wizkid’s Made In Lagos album which was released in 2020.

In another report, Wizkid has reunited with his elder sister, Yetunde Awoniyi, after two years of having not seen each other.

The two met shortly after Wizkid’s concert in Houston as they shared beautiful family moments together at the back stage.

Recall that KemiFilani in an earlier report, shared a video of some females fans of Wizkid dividing his towel into four so as to take his property home.

The video was reported to have taken place in Dallas, Texas, in the United States, where the Nigerian music star recently had his music tour.
