World Cup: Stop questioning Portugal’s players about me – Ronaldo speaks out during a ‘face-off’ with Fernandes

Cristiano Ronaldo, the Manchester United striker, has disclosed his much-publicized conversation with club teammates Bruno Fernandes.

Ronaldo also requested that the media stop bothering his Portugal teammates with stories about his explosive interview with Piers Morgan.

The Manchester United forwards gave Morgan an explosive interview in which he discussed the club, the hierarchy, the manager, the owners, and even his teammates.

Manchester United are currently considering firing the 37-year-old as a result of the interview.

“Timing is always timing. From your side it is easy to look at how we can choose timings,” Ronaldo told reporters in Qatar.

“Sometimes you write truths, sometimes you write lies. I don’t have to worry about what others think. I talk when I want to. Everybody knows who I am and what I believe in.

“Please, don’t ask the players about me. Ask about the World Cup. I’m bulletproof and iron clad.”

Speaking about a clip that went viral last week of him reuniting with Fernandes in Portugal’s World Cup camp, Ronaldo said they were just ‘playing around’.

“His plane was late, so I asked him if he had come by boat.”
