Dayo Amusa, a Nollywood actress, has attacked her colleague Yomi Fabiyi over the controversial film ‘Oko Iyabo,’ which is based on the sexual assault case of Baba Ijesha, the daughter of comedienne Princess Damilola.
In an Instagram post, Dayo Amusa stated that Yomi Fabiyi has demonstrated his commitment to the rape case by making such a film and having the nerve to email her the movie link over Whatsapp.
Dayo Amusa stated that she does not frequently criticise others since everyone perceives things and reacts to situations differently.
However, it makes no sense to transform someone’s sorrow and hardship into something to laugh, adding that TAMPAN, the Censors Board, and the court of justice should not avoid the matter.
She stated, “As much as I prefer not to speak openly about the ongoings, there are some issues that must not be kept silent on.” Seeing a video of a movie by Yomi Fabiyi tonight demonstrated how despicable and inconsiderate he is. You even had the audacity to send me the movie URL over WhatsApp.
I don’t judge others since I think we all view things and respond to events differently, but someone’s suffering and hardship should never be made fun of. Yomi has just demonstrated his lack of humanity. To what degree, if I may ask, TAMPAN, Censors Boards, and courts of justice should not be afraid to address this? Ilu ti o sofin ni ko si ese ko si ese ko si ese ko si ese ko si e Anje ekuru ko tan ekuru ekuru ekuru ekuru ekuru I am dissatisfied. O, LET US BE GUIDED.
NenyKo remembers that TAMPAN, in a statement, condemned Yomi Fabiyi’s latest film, ‘Oko Iyabo,’ and called him, claiming that the actor’s summons was essential due to the controversy the picture has caused against their ethics and virtue.
According to the press statement, the movie producer and director Yomi Fabiyi will appear before the committee on the 11th of July, 2021.
