In a recent tweet, Nollywood actress Wunmi Toriola called out former Big Brother Naija housemate Ka3na for abusing Nollywood celebs.
According to Kemi Filani News, Ka3na said in a Twitter post that most Nollywood producers and performers have turned into brand influencers, which is why there are no new Nigerian films on Netflix.
Many of these Nollywood celebs have joined brand influencing, according to Ka3na, since past BBNaija housemates opened their eyes to the fact that it is a lucrative profession.
She added that brand influencing is not a competition as she urged Nollywood producers and actors to make good movies for the Christmas holiday.
She wrote: Most Nollywood movie producers/actors have become brand influencers. No latest Nigerian movies on Netflix. Bbn housemates don open their eyes to influencing money. It’s not a competition. Y’all make us good holiday movies, please.
The post generated missed reactions from social media users as some people took a side with Ka3na while others slammed her for disrespecting Nollywood stars.
Also, Wunmi Toriola, while commenting on the statement on an Instagram blog, said as much as he loves to watch the Big Brother Naija show, it is unfortunate that some female housemates think with their mouths.
Wunmi Toriola questioned Ka3na if she knows what it takes to build a brand and maintain it, especially those with a long life span.
Wumitoriola wrote: As much as i like the BBN show, some of these girls just think from their mouth,do you know what it takes to build a brand and still maintain it?we are not talking about brand building whose life span is barely one year.
In your mind, you are a famous house mate ????
